God is No Respecter of Persons

“Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.” Acts 10:34
The truth that God is not a respecter of persons is mentioned throughout the Bible. When God’s people declare that God the Father has elected or chosen a multitude of people that were loved in Christ, their Mediator and Representative, and has rejected the rest who were not loved, many people respond with; “God is no respecter of persons.” God’s people readily agree and would not defame or pervert the character of God by making salvation conditioned on God’s respect for man, or even for what God sees that man will do in the future.
The Bible teaches, therefore we believe that God is no respecter of persons in election because sovereign electing grace is conditioned on Christ as the elect are chose “in Him” and for His sake. Before they were chosen…
